- This blog follows the musings of Jackson, a rescue Wire Fox Terrier during the last 3 years of his life. He was rehomed from Fox Terrier Rescue in 2004 and it was our privilege to care for him for the next six years. During this time he overcame many terrible health problems, including degenerative disc disease, lung cancer, primary hyperparathyroidism, cataracts, kidney stones and Cushing's Disease. He was a very brave little dog indeed. Jackson passed away very peacefully on the 10th May 2010; he is sorely missed.

I didn't get to sit down at the computer until this afternoon, when Mom brought us home after their weekend away. That's why I'm so late in congratulating Pappy for his super mustache win!
It was lots and lots of fun to compete, and Mom told me she showed my mustached face to our new in-laws yesterday at breakfast. She says they just kind of shook their heads when they saw it; she thinks they were wondering what kind of family they had let their daughter marry into!!
