Oh Jackson,PL2 found out about little Oscar from your blog(she always goes there first) and was shocked as she had been working and didn't know what had been happening to him. And she can't stop crying and feels as if she has lost one of her own. We send you especailly big licks and smooches to you and your PL;s Love Agatha and Archie
Thank you for your lovely tribute. We are hurting so so badly now and just cannot understand why our healthy bouncy puppy had to go so soon and so fast. Knowing how much he was loved and will be missed is some comfort. When we are a little less sad we will update his blog so please call by.
This blog follows the musings of Jackson, a rescue Wire Fox Terrier during the last 3 years of his life. He was rehomed from Fox Terrier Rescue in 2004 and it was our privilege to care for him for the next six years. During this time he overcame many terrible health problems, including degenerative disc disease, lung cancer, primary hyperparathyroidism, cataracts, kidney stones and Cushing's Disease. He was a very brave little dog indeed. Jackson passed away very peacefully on the 10th May 2010; he is sorely missed.
There have been lots of famous fox terriers, both real and fictional. Here are just a few of my favourites: Beauty, one of the few dogs to win the Dickin Medal (the animals' VC) during WWII, Milou (Snowy) from Herge's "Tintin" books, Asta (my hero) from the "Thin Man" films, Monsieur Bob from Agatha Christie's "Dumb Witness", Montmorency from "Three men in a boat" by Jerome K Jerome, Caesar, King Edward VII's favourite dog. Don't even think about inundating me with loads I've missed, this is my blog, not yours!

I am having a hard time with this. It was so sudden and Oscar was a very good friend always visiting my blog. I miss him so much
I don't even know what to say or how to get Mama to stop crying.
She is very sad because she understands how much Oscar's humans loved him.

Hi Jackson,
I am so sad, too, about losing Oscar. He was a great friend. Me and my family can't stop thinking about him.
Take good care of yourself, Jackson. We don't want to lose anybody else.
Kove,
Koobie
