Home again

I'm back! Did you miss me?

I'm hiding in my bed cos as well as poodle legs AND a shaved neck, I've now got a shaved undercarriage! It's pretty draughty so I'm wearing my stylish green jumper to cover my nekkid-ness. J1 says I look like Val Doonican *. What a cheek!

Anyway, we're still waiting for test results and I've got to go back on Tuesday and stay overnight to prepare me for an MRI scan of my brain on Wednesday. J1 says that they're doing the scan to find out what is causing my fits. I think the real reason is that they've never met a blogging dog before and want to examine my GINORMOUS brain and massive intellect.

[* Val Doonican is an Irish singer famous for his hideous jumpers].

Arrrh!
You poor mite, being shaved is bad enough, but a Val Doonican jumper's adding insult to injury!! Still, as long as it keeps you cosy warm - a blue one would siut you better mind! Will have to get my knitting needles out...

Wow... I hope the vet will know what is causing the fit & fix it real soon.

Poor thing, Jax.

Rest up.

U look great in that sweater.

Jackson: I have a blue sweater that E.Rabbitt made for me. It is a bit (ahem) snug. I will send it next week. Do not snap at the vet, they tend to get huffy about that.

ps...my vet almost had to be carried out of the room when muzzer told her about my blog. She was laughing so hard her eyes started running and then she got the hiccups. So I think you are right about why they are scanning your brain!

We didn't know who Val Doonican is either -- but we do know that we commiserate with all your shaving and poking. Hope you can get back to having fun with J1 and J2 this weekend.

Lots of loving woofs, pal,

Jackson, You are far more dapper than that Val Doonican dude, and I bet smarter too. I suspect you are bang on about that MRI. They are completely blown away by your doggie genius. Keep warm and snuggly.

Jackson sweety, I wish I could come there and lick you all over your sweet face. I'm biting my foot here about this. I want you to be ok, so get on it, ok? I mean a brilliant doog such as yourownself can make this happen, right? Ok so that's settled.

Val Doonican, he of the snappily titled album Val Doonican Rocks, But Gently. Oh boy, I've got that blasted song Walk Tall stuck in my head now! Grrr. Maybe that's why they are doing the MRI - to check it isn't stuck in yours.

Seriously though, best wishes for a good result. Thinking of you

Hi Jackson, we're glad you're hanging in there. your vet must really like you because you get every part of your body tested and tested. we're sorry about your poodle legs, but we think it's funny because we're poodles and we have poodle legs too! we don't cover them up, but we understand that it's just not respecable for a tuff guy like you to have poodle legs. good luck with your brain test!

Mistress is rolling on the floor. Please do not write funninesses when you are meant to be recuperating/convalescing/still in a state of flux.

She also says his pullies were far worse (I think she means his sweaters or jumpers or whatever).

You look quite comfy.

Paws crossed.

Oh, pal jx... don't fret over your poodle legs. I will have mother take a photo of me at the moment. I am suffering from a bad groomer cut. You can look at it and say, at least I am not Sam!

Keep your chin up, Jx. We're pawing for you.

Jackson, I am coming over to nurse you. You have to go back again? I'm flying over to help with pillow flipping and fluffing, dear Jax...and to see Dunstan and give him a little smooch.
Seymour is not here! He's with Lola all weekend. Sniff. Scruffy and I couldn't believe the amount of bottles in the recycling bin when we got home from New York. He tips the elbow pretty frequently Jax. Wine and women....

Oh. He chewed all of Scruffy's rawhides and ate the local grocery out of kielbassi sausage. Does he eat anything else?

Arriving early in the week, Dear.

oh my, just the mention of Val Donnican is enough to give my Jeannie fits!

She was very young and someone bought her an LP (in fact a child!) (whatever an LP might be when it is at home!)....entitled The Greatest Hits of Val Doonican.

(it was quite a short record!)......

Jeannie says it had her in "fits"....not sure what kind though!

I do sincerely hope you are all better soon Jackson and they find out what the problem is .....

and you no longer have to dress like Dear Old Val D!

(Paddy McGinty's goat and all!)

take care love and healing licks, Marv xxxxx
