Actually, I prefer the proper medical term, lipoma...

Yay, the thing on my tail has been confirmed as a fatty lump. Actually I prefer the proper medical term, lipoma. Somehow sounds more dignified, don't you think? Anyway, it's going to stay there unless it gets any bigger or explodes (unlikely!).

Some of you may have noticed that I haven't been blogging much recently. This is simply not acceptable so I decided to teach J1, my typist, a lesson. Last week I attacked her slippers while she was out gallivanting at work. I don't quite know what came over me because I've NEVER done anything like this before. They didn't really taste too good so I only went for the juicy rubbery bits which I then carefully vomited up later on their bedroom floor.

Here I am using one of the slippers as a headrest

As you can see, I think my ploy worked because here I am blogging again. Do you think she's learnt her lesson, or shall I go for her new suede boots next?

Ooooooh great idea. Our servant has been totally unsatisfactory lately. She lost one of us and has been just a leaky slobbery useless mess.
Still there remain eight of us, and we should be able to put your inspiration to good use.

trying to wag, we are the remaining whippets

Wow...Just like mine, only in a different place. A small bit of "substantial" just migrated to a new colony! So glad

oooooooh I hope your tail has not exploded yet, but let me know when it does, as I would like to see the photos!

Slippers are vile, but I am glad you vomited them, just to show who is boss.

I am a Master of Vomit, apparently.

So if you need any more tips, I am at your service.

Also back blogging again, I threatened my J, with Vomit Everywhere or a Dog Blog, my charm won hands down!

Speakeroonie soon, Jackson,

Well done on the good work.

Love and licks, Marvin xxxxxxxxx

What is with the parents and the lack of blogging assistance lately? I'm going to have to try your methods to get my Mom to be mre of a consistant blogger.

I'm happy your tail ailment is just a fatty lump or lipoma. My Uncle Spencer has a bunch of those on him, and he is doing great at 13! I hope you continue to feel good!!!

hi Jackson, that was excellent work on the slippers. chewing, followed by vomit, is a very good strategy to get your J1 to help you blog. and it worked!

Hi Jax,

I'd been terribly worried that perhaps you'd started growing a second tail, so needless to say, I'm very relieved you've just got a pimple on your bum!

But in reading the comments, it seems EVERYONE's got one! Where's mine? Santa?

Remember - a wee bit of unexpected drama almost always results in a new post on the blog. Why do you think I keep contorting myself in my "sleep?" As soon as I hear that satisfying "click" of the camera, I know my fame will continue....

Your pal,

Petey

Great job of teaching J1 a valuable lesson, Jackson! The vomiting trick almost always works! Ok, so does chewing up stuff that doesn't belong to you! We are sooooo glad the thingy on your tail is just a lipoma. Mom took Poppy to the vet, last week, to see about having hers removed. She will be keeping it for the foreseeable future. At least until our mom gets a job so she can pay the ginormous vet bill!

Aire-hugs,
Poppy, Penny & Patches

Nice work with the slippers and the vomit! An excellent strategy. Yesterday while my people were out having fun without me I puked on their bed. :) The nice thing is that they can't really get mad at you for vomiting, can they?

I'm glad the fatty lump is just that. I think it gives you extra cred in the substantial wires club - even your tail is substantial!

Your friend, Lenny

Hey, it's true, we've been missing you!! We've been having similar problems with our secretary -- but she doesn't wear slippers -- so chewing them is not an option. We did knock over a basket from the front hall chest and spill the contents all over the floor and chew the basket (handmade from Charleston,South Carolina) -- but that only evoked the B word (followed by dog) -- and not any increase in blogging.

We're so glad to hear about the lipoma -- we know several humans who have them -- so it's nothing to worry about. Thanks for the good news.

Tell J1 to get busy and we'll tell our Mom to do the same!!!

Lots of wirey love,

Jake and Just Harry

Exceedingly good work Jackson. Hope the vomit was in the J's pathway? Definately go for the suede boots. She will be grateful, she's probably has been hankering after a pair of new ones anyway.

Glad news about your tail. Has it made your more substantial?

So relieved to know tis only a lipoma> As far as further chewing goes. Hmm. Seems like that will be up to her now, doesn't it? If she blogs for you, all is well. If not. Well then. She has been warned...
Sorted out, wouldn't you say?

Hey, Jax!

I've been missing you and my girl has also been remiss in her duties as my blog secretary. I think J1 has gotten the hint, and I think the suede boots might be a little over the top (if you know what I mean).

I'm wondering if Rodney, Gussie's fatty tumor, has migrated across the pond and taken up residence in your tail. You know how he likes Wires of substantial size. Could it be?

Goober love & smooches,
Stanley

Hi Jackson,
Lipoma definitely sounds more dignified than 'fatty lump'.. it MAY give those humans the idea that we are fat when we get those things, which you know isn't true..
Nevertheless, I am glad it's something harmless!
Great job on the slippers.. maybe you can give her some advance 'warning' by hoovering near those boots if she still doesn't blog after this!

Anything leather is delicious! I once ate an entire leather men's boot (dad's) and my humans didn't know. It didn't even make my tummy sick! All they found was the rubber bottom, the laces and the grommets that the laces go through. I don't like to waste any of my feast! Go for that suede man. Tasty!
