Stoned!

"Paws off you two, these stones are all mine"

I think I may have mentioned in the past that I'm very fond of stones. Whenever I go for a walk, if I see a stone I like the look of I'll attempt to carry it home with me. I tend to like BIG stones best, and they can be very heavy to carry in my mouth. Sometimes they don't quite make it home with me and so I leave them on the pavement for other dogs to find. The stones that do manage to survive the journey tend to end up in my garden. When J1 & J2 are sitting outside in their deckchairs, I like nothing better than finding my stones and throwing them at their feet. And then barking. Loudly. Inevitably, some of them get confiscated but you'd be surprised at how many other stones you can find in the garden by a bit of digging and rooting around. I don't think this habit particularly endears me to J1 & J2 but I like to think it keeps them on their toes.

Anyway, the reason I'm telling you this is because it turns out that I like stones so much that I've grown a few inside me! They're in my bladder to be precise and although they don't hurt at the moment, they've got to come out. This means another horrid operation but I don't know when it will be yet. I'm hoping that once the stones have been removed they'll let me keep some as a souvenir so I can show them to you. I know you can't wait to see them!

Oh no Jackson...an operation. How scarey for you. I'm worried. Everything will be ok, right? I better watch out for stones just in case I have to have an operation too.

Mom remembers when her dad was operated for gallstones and he had them in a jar in his room and they were small kind of squarish smoothed brown stones...totally amazing!

Well at least you'll get a souvenir of this operation yuck!

You know we wish you the best dear one. Let us know when it will be.

We are thinking of you here:)

BIG hugs and love from Billy Boo:)

Quite nice of you to try to grow your own stones to play with but I'm not sure it's such a good idea. I hope your surgery goes well!

Hi Jackson
It's good to see out & about enjoying the beach.
My 'One True Love' loved pebbles too. So, much so he swallowed one off Brighton beach & it lodged in his intestine, so like you he had to have an operation. His went well as I hope yourS will in due course.

A big hug

Hi, Jackson. I love your picture walking at the beach!
I am so sorry about your health.
You'll see that surgery (not fun thing, I know that!) will help you to feel better and ready for more funny things to do!
I am praying for you.
Have a nice day.

Jackson,

Think of your operation as a chance for some good "ME" time, and a lot of sympathy from your hoomans.

You sound like a pro on the surgery front, but I can't wait to hear you're up and running again on your beach.

Goob love to you,
Stanley
