FrankenStanley

One of my favourite British designers is Cath Kidston. I have one of her stylish red dog beds. She must be pretty nice as she has a Lakeland Terrier called Stanley and he's quite handsome. I like the fact that Stanley often features in her mail order catalogue.

Cath Kidston recently held a competition to make a soft toy based on Stanley. The pattern was provided; all you had to do was cut it out and sew it together. Easy! Now J1 is not the best seamstress so she asked her Mum to lend a helping hand. Here is the result:

It's FrankenStanley!

My advice to both of them is don't give up your day jobs unless there's a sudden demand for mutant WFT toys. Click here to see some of the fabulous winning entries.

Now Jackson , I feel you're being a wee bit harsh about J1 & her mums effort. I think he's cute, clearly a WFT modeled on you!

Have checked out the other doggies - what an amazing range, all from one simple pattern.

We loved this post!!! Mumsie is a stuffie freak...so many cool cool square faced stuffies.

Seymour isn't throwing up anymore. He's actin' weird though. Like goofy. Mumsie thinks we should consult the dog whisperer. More on that later.

Come to our blog. BIG GINORMOUS NEWS!

You all on "the other side of the pond" have the best competitions!! From mustaches to dog toys. And then you have such creative entries!

We thought J1's Mum had the right idea. Thanks for sharing.

(Our Mom has trouble sewing a button on straight and we have a whole "stuffie hospital" just waiting for her to get out the old needle and thread.)

Wow - they are all amazing, including J1's! My mom downloaded the pattern so she could give it a whirl.

In my video, my mom is brushing my paw. Since my paws are extra itchy, if you brush or scratch them, I get wild crazy back legs! It just feels so good!

Hi Jackson! I saw your comment on my blog asking about the Primo Pads. I love mine. They do not have memory foam. Here is the description of the foam from the web site, www.primopads.com: "Inside the vinyl is a piece of 1" closed cell foam". I LOVE mine. The pad isn't really thick, but the foam is dense, so it's nice and comfy but still firm. I hope that helps!

Our Mom tries to sew too & is terrible! She could never make a toy that cute. She tried to make Lola a winter coat & it was a mess!!!

Wooo Jackson - I am glad you could see your card. I love it too!!! This is our first year in the exchange and I have been overwhelmed with the amount of cards. I am trying to come up with a better way to display for next year. I have thought about getting my own christmas Tree and hooking them to the tree? What do you think about that???
