West Wittering

To celebrate my recent blogoversary, Molly the Irish Terrier and I went for an exciting day trip to West Wittering in West Sussex. The beach is HUGE and there is also a nature reserve nearby. It was a lovely sunny day but it was really cold. Far too cold to go anywhere NEAR the sea, let alone in it. There were lots of other dogs there but they were all nice and friendly, not like me.

I found a green ball that someone had left behind and set to work destroying it while J1 had a freezing cold coca cola and J2 and T had a nice cup of tea and a sit down. Estimated time for me to puncture and rip holes out of it and then cry* like a baby? A mere 3 minutes.

[*I would like to point out that I wasn't crying girly tears; Oh no, they were manly tears of frustration!]

Happy Blogoversary, Jackson.

I was guessing that you have puncture the ball within 10 seconds. I can't believe that you actually took 3 long minutes to achieve it! I think you should work toward hitting the Guinness World Records as the most destructive dog.

Luv,
Snowball

Hi Jackson

We have never been to West Wittering, it looks the sort of place we need to put on our "Must go to" list.

Great to see you had a lovely day out with your friend Molly.

You are not a friendly dog? I don't believe you...I'm sure you are. Wow, you sure took some time to burst that ball. Chloe takes about 30 sec to a minute to burst one.

Well, of course they were manly tears. I would expect nothing less from a manly man dog like you.

Hey J! We wanted to thank you for the suggestion to bake some of the special dog food. Mom sliced up a whole can and baked it and Roxie LOVES her new treats! And Mom doesn't worry about undermining the expensive diet. You are right though, they give the whole house a special aroma ... Mom says stink, we say smell yummy! We were actually hanging around in the kitchen sniffing the air and we never do that!

Hi Jackson,

Good show on destroying the toy. Sam and I destroyed 2 tennis balls today in record time, as well.

Happy Blog Anniversary, though I think I wished you this before, I still have those darn furry boots in my mind, Dear Lord they were a fright!

West Wittering, I think this would be a place for my Jeannie to visit, she witters all the time.

Hi Jackson
Even tho it was cold the beach area looks like a nice place to walk. I notice you're kept on a lead like me, for our protection. I'm real ruff with toys too, specially the squeaky ones. Balls and sticks don't interest me as much.
Love from Hammer

Jackson, Buddy!

I know what you mean about the manly tears of frustration. Being the master of disaster that you are, I imagine this happens fairly frequently.

Looks like a great outing. Wish I could join you sometime.

Goober love & smooches,
Stanley
