Ears, Nurses and Vampire Prevention

My ear is so much better now and I don't have to go back to the horrid vet unless it drops off or something. Thank you for all your good wishes. My speedy recovery is due in part to expert care from the dream nurses team. Asta and Agatha made a lovely stinky garlic potion to ward off any vampires after my encounter with Buffy and I have to wear this garlic necklace for another week or so. It's a bit uncomfortable, but I'm getting used to it.

To help with my recuperation, my wirey pal Eric and I decided to take the nurses out for dinner to old London town. First we had a few cocktails...

Why is Lacie still in her grundies* you may ask? Your guess is as good as mine!

Later we got separated but here's a photo of Asta taken by a policeman who was giving her directions. Look at how much luggage she's got!

Sadly there are no photos of us later in the evening. Best skipped over I think because SOMEBODY (mentioning no names) got rather tipsy.

PS Buffy's owners were very decent about the whole incident and paid all my vet bills. They even bought me a chew which I'm in the process of demolishing. So Buffy, if you're reading this, please thank your lovely owners for me. I'll look out for you on the beach so I can bark at you but I probably won't come too close next time!

Hmmm...Asta has almost as much luggage as muzzer! Dad just took a trip to your side of the pond with a carryon. Muzzer needs lots more than that. She is talking about sending her luggage ups next time.

Hope Asta doesn't run into a problem at the Aire Port.

Glad you are better, the necklace is quite becoming.

If your ear does fall off, don't try to eat it! It could come in handy for something else!

We painted the town orange that night didn't we Jackson?!!! Thanks to the lovely Asta and Lacie, foxie in their frocksies and..erm... grundies. Those Stateside girls know how to party, specially after a tangerine dream pawtini or two!!!. Teehee, 'member when we were thrown out of The Woofsey in Picaddilly because of the overwhelming garlic pong from your new necklace??? And me doing flying leaps up Big Ben to paint it orange???? But yes, better skip over the rest of the evening...

Wiry wags, Eric

Hey Jax, Isn't it great when dog owners are really great people. Most are, I think. Except for one my mom just met on the street, who mom thinks might be more or less crazy.

Here's to happy dogs and sane owners!

Well if I am reading the manual correctly( Jax this was an extremely interesting and baffling case for us) you only need to wear the necklace for a short while longer....Um I have a question did you get the blender fixed before anyone knew we broke it???Love Agatha

I'm sure Buffy's owner felt bad about what happened so they were just being nice. Hope that garlic potion is working really well!

Hey Pal. Do you think that garlic necktie will keep Katie away from me? Although, I did almost get eaten by an ill tempered besenji the other day. I will have to do some research on this garlicy tie.

Jackson!

Who knew that underwear was called grundies?! I kind of like that word.

Now, back to your nurses! I'm thinking of coming down with something just to get a little nursie attention myself!

Thanks for showing Asta and the girls a great time. They think of you as their "ideal dog". You know that, right? That's a lot of dog to live up to (and I'm not just talking size, man)!

Goober love,
STanley
