Invasion of the Irish Terriers

It's finally happened! There are now not 1, not 2, but 3 (yes, count 'em) Irish terriers listed on Dogs with Blogs! It's been a bit like waiting for public transport; nothing comes along for ages and then you get 3 at once.

Chloe & Reid

Keeley

Regular readers will know that my best pals are Molly & Seamus the Irish Terriers, so I'm rather partial to this breed and there's not many of them out there. In fact, here in the UK they're on the Kennel Club's list of Vulnerable Native Breeds. Please go and visit them and give them your best DWB welcome. Tell them "Jackson sent me!"

Jackson, we didn't know that Irish Terriers were considered a vulnerable native breed in the UK. We've only seen them here is Australia once and that was a few years ago now. Our vet thinks my sister Lucy is part airedale part irish part something else.

Hi Jackson,

Wow, I didn't know that Irish Terriers were considered a vulnerable native breed in the UK. That's just not right! They should be celebrated, and wasn't it an Irish Terrier in the movie Fire House Dog? I'm heading to their blogs right now, and I'll add them to my bloggie buddies list. Long live DWB terriers!

Ah Man Jackson...Lacie's been looking for an Irish ever since she drooled over Firehouse Dog...rent it...pawsome...we'll go and visit. Sir Dunstan never shuts up...he's running around here like a mad dog...sorta like he hasn't run in 50 years or something...um...he says he wants to stay for the winter...I can't even imagine how much food that'll be...Mumsie's going through 2 50 lb. bags a week just on him....thankfully he's housebroken!!!!!

Very handsome doogs, they are Jackson, But of course you are one of the handsomest doogs of all. I'm gonna stop by and sniff them out right now.

I know, I'm part of the vulnerable breed list too!! It's very sad. My human loves Irish Terriers and Wire fox Terriers too!!

I think if I get a fur-sibling in a few years it will be one of those two breeds!
